Two handsome OIL PAINTINGS have been donated by Mr D. W. ERASER to the Fete Committee, and these will be presented to holders of lucky Entrance Tickets to the Theatre. Tickets will be on tale on the racecourse during the afternoon. Tickets for the Rotorua Trip' and for the Oil Paintings will be drawn during the Performance at the Lyceum by the Mayor. PEARCE DAIRY SALE. Tho auctioneers wish to draw special attention to an important dairy sale which they are holding on Wednesday next at Hamilton's Line, Jackeytown, on account of Mr W. B. V. Pearce, who is giving up dairying. The cows and heifers are in excellent condition, and comprise 60 first-class dairy sorts, to calve in the- early spring, and also 60 Shorthorn cross heifers (August and September calvers). There are 20 cows just lately calved, and also 25 to calve shortly, which should interest those who intend milking right through the season.
