[BY BIECTBIC TBLB6RAPH — COPTRICHI.] [PRB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] St. Petersburg, May 31. The Minister of Justice assured the Douma that neither officials nor police tortured political prisoners at Riga. He admitted that the police might have lightly Btruck prisoners with their fists. He reminded revolutionaries that they killed and wounded thousands of police in the Baltic provinces.
