FEILDING CHORAL SOCIETY.
Miss Amy Murphy, Miss Grace Kennedy and Mr J. W. Ryan, under engagement to the Feilding Choral Society, arrived in town yesterday. The final rehearsal for the "Creation" took place last night, and everything went off exceptionally well. The singing of Miss Amy Murphy and Mr Ryan in their solos and duets left nothing to be desired, and the Choral Society is to be congratulated on its happy choice of soloists. Misß Grace Kennedy, as leader of the orchestra, would be hard to boat. Mr Leslie Hill, tho Society's tonor, arrives by mail traiu to-day. According to leading New Zealaud critics ho is tho finest tenor New Zealand has ever produced. The whole combination is an exceptionally strong ono, and tho thanks of the community are due to the Society for giving them the opportunity of hearing such fine vocalists and musicians. To-night's rendering of the Creation will bo followed to-morrow evening by a grand vocal and instrumental concert, a full programme of which appears in our advertising columns. The box plau for both nights is open at Milson and Coles.
