When husband and wife met Captain Dreyfus was dazed with emotion, and could not articulate. The interyiew on both sides was one long sob. At the second interview both were more self possessed.
The captain of the Sfax, which conveyed the prisoner to France, describes Dreyfus as a man of surprising energy and self command, with a firm step and keen eyes.
The re trial is to be limited to the authorship of the Bordereau.
