Brisbane. July 1. The football match Engh.nd v. Queensland was won by Queensland, by eleven points to three.
The game was very fast. Queensland scored 11 points in the first half. In the second spell the Englishmen were on tho attack most of the time, but only secured three points. They kicked a goal from a free kick, but the score was disallowed as the player weut over the mark.
