BRITISH EMPIRE CASUALTIES
Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, October 18. Mr. C. R. Attlee announced in the House of Commons that British Empire casualties in the Air Force and Army m Western Europe since the opening of the campaign to the end of August totalled 103,842, of which, 20,795 were killed, 63,193 wounded, and 19,854 missing or taken prisoner.
