TRIPLE CHRISTENING AT MASTERTON

An unusual event, the christening of the infant children of three sisters took place at Knox Church, Masterton, at the conclusion of the morning service on Sunday, the children being the grandchildren of Mr. T. R Rollo Opaki, Masterton. Mr. and Mrs R Shrowder, Waipukurau, had their infant daughter christened Carol Dawn Mr and Mrs. A. Woodd, Palmerston North, called th^ir son Richard Alexander, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Almao Wellington, had their daughter named Denise Joan. Mesdames Shrowder Woodd, and Almao are all daughters of Mr. Rollo and the children were born within four months of each other, The ceremony was performed by the Rev. D. W. Storkey. At a christening party held at Mr Rollo's residence, a three-tiered christening cake was cut by the three fathers. The cake was composed of the top tiers of the sisters' wedding
