MAN-POWER CASES
Nick Nicholas, proprietor of the Rio Grande Restaurant (Mr. R. Watterson), pleaded guilty, before Mr. W. C. Harley, S.M., in the Magistrate's. Court yesterday, to three breaches of the Employment Restriction Order. On the first charge he was fined 10s and cost's, and on the other charges he was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Phellis Mariee Martensson, married woman, 27, was fined £5 and- costs for failing to report to the man-power office for an interview.
Edith May Collins, machinist, 20, was convicted and ordered to pay costs for failing to register for work of national importance.
