WAIKATO MINES IDLE
(P.A.) AUCKLAND; This Day. Trouble has spread in the Huntly district following the cessation last week of work at the Pukemiro Mine. No mines in the district worked today, and over 1000 men were idle. Stopwork meetings were held this morning at the Rotowaro, Alison, Glen Afton, Renown, and Mac Donald Mines, after which the miners returned to their homes. • • ■
