WASHINGTON, May 18. The House of\Representatives Appropriations Comh\ittee approved a 210,000,000-dollar increase in the Marine and War Risk Insurance Fund.
The committee reported today that the losses of American ships already exceeded those of the last war, and told the House that the insurance fund was liable for more than a ship a day at the present rate of sinkings.
