Miss Christina Ormiston, the wellknown soprano, who has been on the staff of the American Consulate for a number of years, will leave Wellington shortly to take up residence with her mother in Gisborne.
- Mrs. Peter McLean, Lowry Bay, is the guest of Mrs. W. Alexander Moore, Murray Place, Christchurch.
Mrs. L. R. Curtis has returned to New Plymouth from a holiday at Carterton and Wellington. She was accompanied home by her daughter, Mrs. A. W. Britton, who spent several weeks at Nelson.
Mrs. Owen Johnston, Christchurch, has returned home from a visit to Palmerston North, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Nathan, Hobson Crescent, Wellington.
Mrs. John Redwood, Lower Hutt, is visiting Wanganui.
Mr. and Mrs. S. Wood, Lower Hutt, are visiting Waipukurau as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. Windle.
