GUN PRACTICE NEAR CITY
The attention of the public is drawn to an advertisement in this issue notifying that anti-aircraft guns will be fired adjacent to the city at 2 p.m. on Monday. The firing will last for about half an hour.
Heavy gun practice, which started at the approaches to the port today, will also be carried out on Monday, and continued on Tuesday.
Residents in the vicinity of the guns are advised to open all winflows during the practice to prevent damage from blast and vibration.
