For some weeks the Hutt Valley Harbour Auxiliary has been t: uining and has carried out smallscale evacuation exercises between Petone and the Eastern Bays, and tomorrow the two harbour units, Wellington and Hutt Valley, will combine in an exercise designed to familiarise launch masters with possible embarkation points in and around the inner harbour.
A large-scale trial evacuation Crom Wellington to Petone at an early date is under consideration. It is stressed that the wholehearted co-operation of the public is necessary if such trials are to be really useful. " Details of tomorrow's trial as they affect the Hutt Valley E.P.S. are advertised.
