Ngaio Gorge Road as it appears^ today after the erosion caused by this week's heavy rain. On the left, scene in San Sebastian Road, where a heavy slip has carried away a large bluegum, as well as much debris. A little' further down the road, just past the bend seen in the picture, is a large slip which has carried away the footnath behind the .Wellington Club.
