FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

The secretary of the New South Wales Chamber of Manufacturers, Mr. J. W. Hendry, said that Australian manufacturers can supply materials for the New Zealand Government's housing scheme. Mr. Hendry- was commenting on the statement by the Hon. H. T. Armstrong that builders in New Zealand were having difficulty in obtaining materials. He added: "If the New Zealand Government adopts satisfactory financial arrangements, Australian manufacturers will supply her. They cannot do so under 'existing arrangements."
