It is difficult, to realise .that the Port of London is 5Q miles" from the\mouth of the River Thames, and' ori£ seqs.how this colossal river port has grown. from practically nothing to *be the centre of world commerce.
The well-known East India- Docks and other wharves are clearly to be seen, and one leaves the *model reluctantly feeling that, to the Englishman at least, here is a brief but intimate glimpse of "Home."
