CLAN MACKAY SOCIETY
Although the weather was adverse the attendance at the Clan MacKay Society's monthly social, held last Saturday, in the Empire Hail, was good, and the function, which was mainly devoted to old-time and modern dancing, was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Items rendered were: Songs, by Miss Colina Bi-yce; Highland dancing, Miss Kelly, a Scottish champion; bagpipe selections. Miss Gracie MacKay. Under the supervision of Mrs. Lan MacKay, a dainty supper was served. Mr. Andrew MacKay proved a popular M.C. Official accompanists for the evening, were Mrs. Lan MacKay and Mr. Bramsee (piano). and Miss Gracie MacKay (bagpipes) The evening was brought to a close with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem.
