Butt, Wellington (late of Levin), and David Sydney, second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Needham, Karo'ri. The service was conducted by the Rev. N. F. E. Robertshawe, Mr. R. Page presiding at the organ.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a trained gown of white Persian lamb taffeta made with a slightly ruched bodice and long sleeves. Her circular veil featured an embroidered scolloped edge and was held to the head by three gardenias. Her bouquet was of white roses and lilies. She was attended by Mrs. I. Pink flowers on velvet ribbons were worn in their hair and their bouquets were of pink carnations and sweet peas.

The best man was Mr. I. Smith, and Messrs. C. Webster and D. Butt (brother of the bride) were groomsmen.
