"FREEDOM" STATION JAMMED
(Daventry Broadcast.) LONDON, Friday Night. The German "freedom" station was jammed tonight when it referred to the lifting of the arms embargo by the United States. The announcer said that the lifting of the embargo would be an event of the greatest importance to Britain and France and would ensure an unlimited supply of munitions. He was describing this as a setback for Herr Hitler when the broadcast was blotted out.
