MUFTI MAY ACCEPT WHITE PAPER
LONDON, November 3.
The Cairo correspondent of "The Times" says that the Premier, Ali Maher Pasha, said he had received letters indicating that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who is at Bagdad, was willing to accept the White Paper of May 17.
Negotiations are proceeding for an amnesty for Palestine Arabs in exile and in prison. ,
A declaration that Britain's objective was the establishment within 10 years of an independent Palestine State in such treaty relations with the United Kingdom as would prove satisfactory for the commercial and strategic requirements of both countries in the future was contained in the White Paper issued by Britain on May 17.
