STORY OF 100 YEARS
THE "EVENING POST"
CENTENNIAL EDITION
The story of New Zealand s march to nationhood during the first hundred years of British Sovereignty is graphically told in special articles and illustrations which will be included in the Centennial Exhibition Number of the "Evening Post," to be published on Tuesday next. New Zealand's development during the comparatively brief space of 100 years will be traced through its various stages and the romantic story will be supplemented with, illustrations which provide a striking contrast between conditions of today and those of yesteryear. As befits the occasion, stress is laid on the part which the Centennial Exhibition will play in New Zealand's celebration of the completion of her first hundred years, and one of the features of the special edition will be the inclusion of a plan showing at a glance the attractions which are being offered to the public at Rongotai. In addition, there will be articles dealing with the birth and growth of the city of Wellington, voyages to New Zealand before the advent of the pakeha, the development of the Maori, the constitutional history Oi. New Zealand, the country's industrial development, cultural development, air development, and many others of general and historical interest. The number of extra copies of the Centennial Exhibition edition to be printed is limited, and orders for extra copies should be placed immediately with the publisher of the "Evening Post." Owing to the increased size of the "Evening Post" on Tuesday next, deliveries may be subject to slight delay, but, as usual, every effort will be made to maintain the normal delivery schedule.
