CARILLON RECITAL
LATE CARILLONIST'S RECORDS
A recital, by automatic player, will be given on the National War Memorial Carillon, Buckle Street, tomorrow afternoon, commencing at 3 o'clock. The records to be played will be comprised wholly of those specially created for the carillon by the late Mrs. E. E. Muir,, formerly Miss Gladys Watkins, first official carillonist in j Wellington, whose work thus lives on. The programme will be as follows:— (1) Changes on Eight Bells. (2) "I- Waited for the Lord/ (3) "My True Love Hath My Heart." (4) "Bells of St. Mary's." (5) "Scenes That Are Brightest." | (6) "Nearer My God to Thee." j (7) "The Bells of Scotland," "Men of Harlech," and "Vicar of-Bray." (8) "The Last Rose of Summer."... (9) "Silver Threads Among the Gold." (10) "Oh God Oiii- Help in Ages I Past." : (11) "God Defend New Zealand." ; (12) The National Anthem.
