DURATION OF WAR
An amendment to the Naval Mobilisation Emergency Regulations gazetted yesterday provides for enlistments in the Naval Forces for the duration of hostilities only. Enlistments will be at the discretion of the Naval Board, such discretion to be exercised either generally or in respect of particular cases or classes of personnel. Men enlisted in this way may be required to serve up to six months after hostilities with the German Reich cease.
