MEN ACQUITTED
RAID ON QUEENSLAND PARLIAMENT

BRISBANE, This Day. The 38 (not 40) men who raided the Queensland Parliament House on August 4 were charged with unlawful assembly. After a trial which occupied several days they were today acquitted and discharged. -.-'-.
Armed with improvised batons, ..the men, who called themselves the League, for Social Justice, gained access to the chamber where the Labour.Party was meeting. They argued with the Premier (Mr. Forgan Smith) until removed by the police.
