LAWN TENNIS
The Glenside Tennis Club was officially opened for the season last weekend in beautiful weather. There was a large attendance of members and visitors. The president (Mr. Tulloch) declared the club open and served the first ball. Dr. Wyat, of Johnsonville, vice-president, also spoke. A competition was won by Mrs. Chevalier, of Ngaio.
