BEQUESTS TO UNIVERSITY
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, This Day,
Bequests mentioned at a meeting of Otago University Council were, from the late Mrs. Willeby, a share in Ashbur Hall to be used for the teaching of psychiatry; from the late Mr. G. n Proudfoot, £2000 for a science research scholarship; and from an anonymous donor, £250 for the Studhole House building fund.
The registrar reported that the Donald Reid bequest of £5000, made in 1919 for the Chair of Economics, now amounted to £12,481, with considerable increments in future as life Interests expire.
