PERSONAL NOTES

The marriage took place quietly in Wellington at midday today of Mr. S. George Nathan, of Wellington, and Miss Joan Saville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Saville, of Horwell Downs, Fairlie, South Canterbury.

Lady W Tigram, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Midland Hotel.

Miss Margot Barker, Wellington, is staying with Mrs. Herbert Elworthy, Craigmore, Timaru.

Miss Kathleen Henry returned recently from an extended stay in England. Miss Henry, who prior to her departure was well known in musical Circles as a violinist, is at present the guest of her sister, Mrs. L. O. H. Tripp, Molesworth Street, Wellington.

Mrs. T. H. Lowry, Hawke's Bay, is visiting Wellington.

Dr. and Mrs. Ulric Williams, Wanganui, will visit Dunedin this week.

Mrs. J. D. Ormond, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. T. C. Maling, Timaru, has returned to her home in Hawke's Bay.

Mrs. D.* P. Dickinson has arrived in Christchurch from England to visit her mother, Mrs: J. Cracroft Wilson, Fendalton.

Mrs. R. D. Donaldson, Dunedin, is visiting Wellington and is staying at the Grand Hotel.

Mrs. H. Jordan (Dunedin) and Miss J. Harris (Auckland) are guests at the Hotel St. George.

Guests at the Midland Hotel include Mesdames B. Rodgers (Hamilton), T. H. Lowry (Hawke's Bay), H. Davidson (Palmerston North), R. Morris, and N. Thompson (Gisborne).

Recent arrivals at the Empire Hotel include Mrs. West (Auckland), Mrs. N. S. Murrell (Invercargill), Mrs. T. W. Hercock (Napier), and Mrs. J. Gordon (Dunedin).
