Mr. A. Southey, of Eketahuna, who enjoyed considerable success with Lady Ina in recent years, a mare of his own breeding, now has quite a small stud. Lady Ina has been retired from the Turf and has been mated with Phaleron Bay, and the Boniform mare Fillette (dam of Headmaster, Headmistress, Filetto, etc.), now owned by Mr. Southey, has also gone to this sire. Sweet Music is being mated with Colossus, and Lady Ina's half-sister Ladyfingers has been sent to the Aus-tralian-bred Seremond —Molly's Robe horse Robemond (a full-brother to Mollison), now stationed as a remount sire at Palmerston North.
