DRUG HOUSES OF AUSTRALIA.
Drug Houses of Australia. Ltd., which holds all the issued ordinary shares in Felton, Grimwade, and Duerdins, Ltd.. desires to. convert that company into a proprietary, and to acquire all its preference shares. It : v proposed that Drug Houses should create a class of preference shares and should offer them in exchange for shares now held in Felton, Grimwade. The new preference shares in Drug Houses would carry the same rights as to capital, dividend, voting etc as the existing preference shares in Felton, Grimwade, but the rate of dividend would be 6 per cent, instead of 8 per cent. To compensate for the lowering of dividend rate it is proposed .to issue four of the new 6 per cent, shares for every three of the 8 per cent, shares at. present held.
