Mr. Frank Ross, hon. coach, last evening spoke to members on bowls laws, the "unbeatable" shot, and debated with Mr. A. G. Warwick whether or not a player winning the toss should give the jack away. The general discussion was most interesting and helpful. On behalf of members, Mr. A. Longmore, vice-president, presented Mr. Ross with a token of their high appreciation of his services as lecturer. The series ends on Monday, October 30. __
