SYDNEY, October 16,
The wool return to Australia for the current season's clip should be about £54,000,000, compared with £42,500,000 for last year. According to the Central Wool Committee's statement more than 1,000,000 bales of the current clip is already on the water.
The gross values in Australian currency for the past thr a years are returned by Palgety and Company as follows:—l 936-37, £60,552,572; 1937-38, £44,045,757; 1938-39, £39,123,031.
