ENEMY TRADER
WELLINGTON FIRM
Under the Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations the Minister of Industries and Commerce is empowered to declare a company to be an enemy trader if he is satisfied that such company is carrying on business substantially under the control of alien enemies, and the first declaration of this kind was published in a supplement to the Gazette issued last night. The Minister (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) declares G. Hardt and Co. (N.Z.), Ltd., merchants, Wellington, New Zealand, to be an enemy trader, and has issued a warrant under the Regulatiops appointing the (Public Trustee controller of the business.
