ALLEGED BREAKING AND
ENTERING
Arrested, last, evening by -DetectiveSergeant F. N. Robinson, William Clifford Berice Symons, a car painter, aged 23, appeared before Mr. A. Coles, J.P., in the Petone Court today charged with breaking and entering the Empire Hotel, Jackson Street,, and steal-, ing gin, stout, and beer of a,total value of £4 2s 6d. Detective-Sergeant Robinson said that he had recovered a quantity of liquor from- the accused's home. A remand until October 25 was granted.
