BURK WINS DIAMOND SCULLS

Harvard University (U.S.A.) beat the Argonaut Rowing Club (Canada) in the Grand Challenge Cup eights at the Henley centennial regatta. Harvard won by three lengths. The time was 7min 40sec. In the Diamond Sculls, J. Burk '(U.S.A.) beat' Verey (Poland), by a • quarter of a length, in 9min 3sec. . < The races were rowed in a strong wihd and under slight rain.
