COX v. CLARKE TONIGHT.
Looking particularly tough anc solid, "King Kong" Cox, the Californian wrestler, arrived in Wellington .011 Saturday ready for his match with Jim "Dazzler" Clarke at the Town Hall tonight. Cox brought the news that when he left the States he was regarded over a large part of Amei^ca and also in Canada as the real world : champion at the present time. For more than a year he has been wrestling in the Eastern States, and among the men he has beaten are Danno CMahoney, Steve ("Crusher") Casey, Ed Ddn George, Dick Shikat, Yvon Robert, and Jack Washburn. He tried hard to get a match witb Jim Londos, but was npt successful. He said that he had added no holds to his equipment, because he thought the ones he alread-" had werp capable of achieving the results he desired. As a pro fessionaj preliminary there will be a bout between Alf Bloomfield and Mark King, with amateur bouts completing a highly attractive programme. Particulars are advertised.
