TO TRAIN IN THE NORTH
E. N. Kennerley, who has enjoyed a fair measure of success since settling in Auckland a -few months ago,, is likely to be joined by.his father, J. J. Kennerley, shortly, and the pair will probably establish themselves as - joint trainers. J. J. Kennerley has been one of the most successful- trainers in Christchurch over a period of years, and he has won most of the principal events on the trotting calendar. He has pre-: ' viously had experience in the north, for he prepared Peter Bingen for his second New Zealand Trojtting Cupsuccess when acting in a ' private capacity* for Mr." W. Johnstone. Other good horses to pass- through Kenner. ley's hands were Great Bingen, Acron, - who still holds the mile race record of 2min 3 2-ssec. Pedro Pronto. Peter Swift, Logan Chief, Native Chief, and Southern Chief.
