CROSSBRED DEMAND
WOOL IN LONDON
ACTIVE MARKET EXPECTED
(By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.) (Received July 10, 9 a.m.) LONDON,: July, 9. The July wool sales should be extraordinarily interesting. A lively sale of crossbreds is expected. Supplies, although greater than last year, are not excessive. Prices are expected to be 5 to 10 per cent, above closing rates of the May series. Activity in the woollen industries i of France, Belgium, and Holland, however, is nothing like as great as that j of England. It is expected that buyers | for those countries are likely to operate with caution and business with them will be harder.
