SERIOUS INJURIES
(By 'telegraph—Press Association) j HASTINGS, July 9. j While walking across Munroe Street, Napier,,at 7.45 p.m. on Saturday, ai middle-aged man, Donald McDonald, aged 74, Nelson Crescent, Napier, was, struck by a car and severely injured. He was taken to hospital, where his condition is reported to be serious. He has injuries to the head and the left arm and a compound fracture of the left leg. ;
