MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE
When two cars collided on the Western Hutt Road at Hay wards at about 5.50 p.m. on Saturday, Mrs. M. R. Bush, 11 Maurice Terrace, Wellington, received abrasions over her left eye and shock, and her son, Mr. T. N, Bush, insurance agent, of tlie same address, a lacerated scalp and shock Both were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance, but Mrs. Bush was able to leave after treatment. Concussion and an injury to her mouth were suffered by Mrs. R. Matthews, 87 Ross Street, when the car in which she was travelling was involved in a collision in Onepu Road, Lyall Bay, at about 12.50 a.m. on Sunday. The Free Ambulance took her to hospital. ■ Mr. D. Thompson, a labourer, 32 Fitzherbert Street, Petone, received concussion and a lacerated wound on his right arm when he was knocked down by a motor-car in Petone on Saturday night. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital- „. T Mr. E. Logan, trimmer, 24 Darlington Road, injured his head and right shoulder while playing football at the Miramar polo grounds on Saturday afternoon.
