CHANGE OF SHIP
BETTER FOR REPULSE TO BE AT HOME
(Received April 28, 12.50 p.m.) , LONDON,. April 27. The decision that the King and Queen should go to Canada by the Empress of Australia instead of by H.M.S. Repulse was made at the King's own suggestion. Mr; Chamberlain announced in the House of Commons that it was thought to be preferable that the Repulse should not leave European waters and their Majesties would travel by the Empress of Australia,- which would have an escort of warships.
