UNIVERSITY CLUB
Al a preliminary committee meeting of the Victoria University College Swimming Club yesterday, a considerable amount of work was accomplished. A sub-committee to arrange programmes for club evenings was set up and it was decided that the opening night should be held at Thorndon Baths on Wednesday, December 7. An attractive programme has been arranged and a large attendance is expected.
LAUNDRY COMPANY'S DIVIDEND
The Victoria Laundry Company, Ltd., Wellington, has advised the Stock Exchange Association that an interim dividend of 2J per cent, for the six months ended November 30 will be paid on December 1. The dividend is at the unchanged rate of 5 per cent, per annum.
