At the wool sales today 8417 bales were offered, including 4627 New Zealand, and 7484 were sold.
The selection was fairly good and met with active competition.
A good clearance was effected at firm rates.
New Zealand realisations included greasy crossbred "Wairere" lid to ll&d, greasy merino "Woodbank" ll£d: scoured merino "Walter Peak," 16£ d to 22£ d, and -*lipe halfbred "Three Crowns," 14d.
