NATIONAL PARTY
APPRECIATION EXPRESSED
Before the caucus of Parliamentary members of the National Party concluded yesterday, the following resolution was passed: "That this meeting of the Parliamentary members of the National Party place on record its high appreciation of the organisation created in connection with the recent Parliamentary elections, and conveys a vote of grateful thanks to all those connected therewith, from national headquarters and divisional executives to the various electorate and branch committees, and to all supporters who worked so hard in the interests of the party." ______
A link with William Wilberforce has been broken. His only surviving grandson. Henry Edward Wilberforce, died at Bath, three days after his ninetyfirst birthday.
