REVISED TIME-TABLE
ADDITIONAL SERVICE
An additional service between Auckland and Wellington once daily in each direction (Mondays to Saturdays), leaving Auckland at noon and Wellington at 3 p.m., has been announced by Union Airways of New Zealand, Ltd.
The new timetable provides for later departure of the Palmerston NorthChristchurch service, providing connection at Palmerston North with the Lockheed from Auckland and New Plymouth, thus giving an alternative route to Christchurch, connecting at Christchurch with the Lockheed for Dunedin. A through service, Auckland to Dunedin, via Wellington, will be provided twice daily in each direction, including Sundays, as at present.
The 3 p.m. Lockheed from Wellington will provide connection at Palmerston North with the Palmerston NorthGisborne, service, thus permitting passengers leaving Wellington at 3 p.m. to arrive at Napier at 4.50 p.m. and at Gisborne at 6 p.m. On Sundays the noon Lockheed from Wellington will connect at Palmerston North with the service for Gisborne at 1 o'clock, arriving at Napier at 2.10 p.m. and at Gisborne at 3.20 p.m.
The Christchurch-Blenheim-Palmer-ston North service, arriving at Palmerstan North at 3.45 p.m., will connect with the Lockheed for New Plymouth and Auckland, arriving at these places at 4.45 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively.
