MEETING WITH BRITISH MINISTERS
PRELUDE TO RETURN?

PARIS, November 24,
Mr. Neville Chamberlain and Lord Halifax saw the Duke of Windsor at the Hotel Maurice.
It is stated that the Duke expressed the wish that they should visit him.
The talk lasted twenty-five minutes. Reuters Agency states that the Duchess of Windsor was present.
The entourage regards the meeting as a prelude to the early return of the Duke of Windsor. It is believed that he is insistent that the Duchess should rank as her Royal Highness.
