KEEPING TRACK OF THE PETROL
A simple method of keeping track of fuel purchases is provided in a simple gadget provided for the facia board. It is set by hand each time a purchase is made, a dial recording up to 999 gallons, after which the recorder is reset. A catch is provided to prevent accidental operation. From the . figures shown on the dial performance can be calculated at any time by reference to the dial of the speedometer. It is necessary, of course, to be sure that the speedometer is accurate, or reasonably so. Some are quite inaccurate. •
