VATICAN PROTEST
ITALIAN RACIAL LAWS

The Rome correspondent of the British United Press says it is stated semiofficially that the Vatican is protesting against the law forbidding marriages of Aryans with • other races, which is regarded as a violation of the Lateran Treaty, under which Italy recognises the legality of all . marriages celebrated by members of a religious order.
