The total amount applied for in tenders for £35.000,000 ol' Treasury bills was £62.660,000. The average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 10s 6.16 d, against 10s 5.87 d a week ago.
At the corresponding date a year ago applications for £45.000,000 Treasury bills totalled £74,990,000, and the average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 10s 2.12 d.
