PANGO IN FINE ORDER
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
PALMERSTON N., November 4.
A number of Awapuni horses are likely to attend the Waikato Meeting in a fortnight's time. G..W. New will probably take Silver River, Vadanoe, Chere Amie, and Pas de Cheval, and L. Knapp will go with Pango and Tail Light.
Tail Light and Pango are in capital order present. Pango has not looked better during his whole career, his racing at Trentham doing him a lot of good.
Corroboree has come on as a result of his race at Bulls last week. It is expected that he will be a useful sort of horse during the next month or two.
Although The Crooner's trip to Christchurch was cancelled when he spread himself during a gallop last weekend, the trouble is not serious. He moved without sign of soreness in his exercise work yesterday morning and he otherwise looks in very bright condition.
