OBITUARY
MR. MORRIS GOLD
Mr. Morris Gold,1 who died suddenly at his residence, 11 Adelaide Street, Petone, on Tuesday, at the age of 68 years, was a well-known business man of Wellington, Born in Poland, he went to England as a boy, where he entered the soft goods trade. Later he came to New Zealand, where he was naturalised, and he was in business in Willis Street, Wellington, for fourteen years, and afterwards for about three years in Tory and Harris Streets.
He retired five years ago, going to Petone, where he and his wife have since resided.
He is survived by his wife and the youngest son, who is at present seriously ill in hospital at Rarotonga.
Mr. Gold, who was of a particularly genial nature, leaves a large circle of friends.
